Everything you need to know about buying our films in the US and Canada.
Can I buy directly from this website?
No. In the United States and Canada our discs are sold by MVD Entertainment Group and by independent stores. Every buy button on this site takes you straight to the right page at MVD, and our Where to Buy page lists the stores that carry our films.
When do new releases come out?
Release dates are on each film's page. Before a film comes out you can usually pre-order it from MVD, often at a discount.
Will your discs play in my player?
The region and format of every release are listed on its film page. Blu-rays need a Blu-ray player and will not play in a DVD-only player. 4K UHD discs need a 4K UHD player.
Are your films cut?
We always aim to present films complete and in the best version available. If a release differs in any way from the original, we say so on the film's page.
Do your discs have English subtitles?
Our foreign-language films come with English subtitles, and we add SDH subtitles for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing wherever we can. Each film page lists the audio and subtitle options.
What is a limited edition?
Some of our releases are made in limited, numbered runs, often with extras such as an O-card, a reversible sleeve, a poster or art cards. Once a limited edition sells out it may not come back, so if you want one it is best not to wait.
Will you release more films in North America?
Yes. We have a strong pipeline of films on the way. Keep an eye on our Films page and follow us on Instagram and Facebook for announcements.
Who do I contact about my order, a delivery or a damaged disc?
Please contact the store you bought from. They handle payment, shipping, returns and replacements. If you bought from MVD, contact MVD customer service through their website.
A disc that has come loose from its holder in transit is not considered damaged as long as it plays.
Are your films suitable for everyone?
Not always. Many of our films are made for adult audiences. Please check the details on each film's page before buying or watching.
